Pakistan has no data protection act in force; the Personal Data Protection Bill has moved through cabinet but was never enacted. There is also no national licensing body that sets a record-keeping standard for psychologists today, although the Sindh Healthcare Commission has begun licensing some allied-health disciplines provincially and national Allied Health Professionals Council registration is expected.

So the standard is currently yours to set. The useful question is not what the law requires — it requires nothing yet — but what your records will look like when a registration regime does arrive, and whether you would rather sort that out now or under a deadline.
